Beyond a Service: Opportunities for Growth
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are some Cohorts divided by binary gender?
Currently, Cohorts are intentionally separated in order to address the intersections of race, sex, and gender specific to each group. The majority of participants identify as cis with few participants identifying as trans or gender non-binary. We recognize that this may create an unsafe environment for anyone identifying as trans, gender non-binary, gender non-conforming or still questionining. Our facilitators are accountible to interrupt cisheterosexism, transmisogyny, and all forms of interpersonal violence that occurs whether or not someone is in the room. If you have any questions or wish to talk, please feel free to schedule a Quick Chat with our Founder, Brenda.
How can I join a future Cohort?
Our Cohort dates are set in part with the facilitator's schedule and the average availability of the prospective participants. You can complete this Future Cohort Form to sign up for a future Cohort.
If your employer is paying for your participation, please consider paying the full fee of $280. We are happy to provide an invoice,a W-9, and any additional documentation your employer requires.
